GUADALAJARA, Mexico (Jan. 26, 2008) -- The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team opened its campaign at the Copa Chivas tournament in Guadalajara with a 2-2 draw against America.

America opened the scoring in the 15th minute, when Jose Ayala redirected a free kick with his head past U.S. 'keeper Josh Lambo. Just five minutes later, Felix Garcia pressured the center back, stole the ball at the top of the box, went in one v. one with the goalkeeper and slotted the ball home.

Just a few minutes into the second half, Garcia's pressure resulted in another U.S. goal. The XX native beat his man down the left and cut across the endline before finding Alex Nimo in front of the goal. Nimo finished a one-timer to put the U.S. ahead.

In the 50th minute, America's Andres Ademar ran onto the end of a long through ball, and went in alone on Lambo, putting away the game-tying goal for the 2-2 final.

The U.S. is back in action on Sunday, Jan. 27 against Tecos.
