U.S. Soccer's CoachesNet Launches 'Premier International Tours Coaches Corner'

CHICAGO (April 18, 2008) – In an effort to continue to provide diverse and unique educational opportunities, U.S. Soccer’s CoachesNet, through a partnership with Premier International Tours (formerly Euro-Sportring), is pleased to bring you Premier International Tours Coaches Corner, an on-going series of training sessions, exercises, and articles designed to inform and educate coaches on international coaching styles and methods.

Premier International Tours, in conjunction with The Royal Netherlands Soccer Federation (KNVB), will highlight different topics each month from youth development, training sessions and coaching styles that the KNVB use to train their youth players.

“The Premier International Tours Coaches Corner is a great opportunity for coaches to learn what other federations and countries are teaching their youth players,” said Director of Coaching and Youth Development Bob Jenkins. “It is important for coaches to stay in tune with other styles of coaching and ways to develop players. The Coaches Corner brings this information directly to our coaches.” To learn more about Premier International Tours visit http://www.esrusa.com/.

Available through ussoccer.com, CoachesNet is devoted to educating its members on U.S. National Team coaching tactics by breaking down games at the highest level, analyzing training sessions and tactics, and delving into the keys to preparation.

In addition, the content found only on CoachesNet features exclusive videos, podcasts, training exercises and dissertations on everything from preparing for a particular opponent to preparing for a season. Sign-up now at coachesnet.ussoccer.com.
