U.S. Under-17 MNT to Hold 26-Player Mini-Camp in Bradenton, Fla.  

BRADENTON, Fla. (April 23, 2008) -- U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team head coach Wilmer Cabrera has called in 26 players for a mini-camp that begins today, April 23, and continues through April 27.

The roster is made up of players born in 1992 and 1993 and are all eligible for the 2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Nigeria, and includes 15 players who are currently part of U.S. Soccer's Development Academy.

Joining the four full-time Under-17 MNT coaches for the duration of camp will be U-15 BNT head coach Jim Barlow, U-15 BNT assistant coach Rene Miramontes and Development Academy scout Tony Lepore, who has been instrumental in the selection of the players in attendance. 

The players will be vying for a place in the Fall 2008 semester of U.S. Soccer's Residency Program at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
