U.S. Under-18 MNT Scores Late to Draw With St. John's University
ZARAPETH, N.J. (April 23, 2008) -- The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team got a late goal from Norris White to come away with a 1-1 draw against St. John's University in a scrimmage.

The match was scoreless until the 78th minute, when St. John's Tafadzwa Chiduku intercepted a pass and sent Adam Himeno in on a through ball. Himeno was in alone on goal, and slipped the ball past U.S. goalkeeper Cody Mizell to put St. John's ahead.

In the 90th minute, however, the U.S. battled back, earning a corner kick that was taken by Kelyn Rowe. Rowe sent the ball into the box and found the feet of Dersu Abolfathi, who made a cheeky back heel pass to Norris White. White fired his shot off a St. John's defender and into the net to even the score at one goal apiece.

The U.S. will play two more scrimmages against local Development Academy club PDA, before closing out camp on Saturday, April 26.
