U.S. Under-20 MNT Finish Third at Northern Ireland Milk Cup
BALLYMONEY, Northern Ireland (Aug. 1, 2008) - The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team finished third at the 2008 Milk Cup with a 2-0 victory against Belgium this evening at Riada Stadium in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland.

The U.S. got goals from Peri Marosevic and Casey Townsend, both in the second half, on a sunny day in Northern Ireland.

Marosevic put the U.S. in the lead in the 56th minute when he finished a penalty kick. Townsend put the game away a little less than 20 minutes later by capitalizing on a mistake by a Belgium defender who lost control of a long punt from the U.S. goalkeeper, allowing Townsend to steal the ball and finish.
