DaMarcus Beasley Added To Roster For August 20 Qualifier Against Guatemala  

CHICAGO (August 15, 2008) - Glasgow Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has been added to the USA's roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Aug. 20 against Guatemala, becoming the 18th and final player that will travel to Guatemala City.

Beasley is one of the most experienced players in World Cup qualifying on the roster, with 16 caps and four goals to his credit, including the insurance goal in the 2-0 win agains Mexico on Sept. 3, 2005, that secured the USA's place in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

The USA's opening match of the semifinal round kicks off at 8 p.m. MT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Galavision. Fans can also follow the match live on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker.
