U.S. National Teams: A late addition to the Under-20s, coming into his first camp just three months ago …

Under-20s: 2004: Came into camp for the first time with the any youth national team with the U-20s in December at The Home Depot Center … Got his first cap against Canada on Dec. 18, starting in the 1-0 win … He also started the Dec. 20 game against Canada, helping the U.S. to another 1-0 victory.

College:  2004: Finished third on the team in scoring with five goals and three assists for 13 points … Tied for first on the team with 20 appearances, one of only eight players to appear in every game  … Started in 16 games … Helped UCLA to a 14-4-2 record and a run to the third round of the NCAA Tournament … 2003: Walk-on who played in 16 games with three starts ... Had two goals on the year, both game-winners ... Scored the first against Portland and then had the game's only goal at Washington ... Also had an assist against Cal State Fullerton ... All 10 shots taken were on goal. 

High School / Club: All CIF and all-league selection in 2003 at Northwood HS under coach Barry Bandaruk ... Scored 15 goals with eight assists ... Also earned all-league honors in 2002 while scoring nine goals with six assists ... Led his team to the 2002 Div. IV CIF championship ... Totaled six goals and five assists as a sophomore and 15 goals and nine assists as a freshman ... Played club soccer with the Irvine Strikers, which won the national championship in 2002 and the regional championships in 2001 and 2002.

Personal: Born January 19, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil … Admires Brazilian legend Garrincha ... Lists his biggest athletic thrill as winning the national championship with his club team ... Hobbies include television and cards ... Mechanical Engineering major.
