U.S. National Teams: Joined the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in the fall of 2004 … U.S. Under-17s: Was one of the least experienced players on the World Championship roster, but in the short time he’s been in with the U-17s he’s show his potential ...  Only has seven international appearances over the past year … 2005: Started 11 of the 20 matches he’s played in with the top U-17 team, scoring three goals and adding one assist … Has played in six international matches this year … Came on as a substitute in the 89th minute in the team’s first international match before the qualifying tournament, a 4-0 victory over Haiti … 2004: Played in 10 games, starting three … Despite not playing in many games, he scored three goals and notched two assists … Played in one international match and scored.

Professional: Joined Mainz 05 in 2006.

High School / Club: Played club soccer for the Manatee Magic, but is not affiliated with any team at this point … Has not played high school soccer as when he moved to Bradenton he attended Edison Academy Center.

Personal: Was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia … Lived in Germany for awhile before moving to the states in 1999 … Has lived in Utah and Florida … His parents names are Svetlana and Zeljko … His dad played soccer in Slovenia and Yugoslavia … Has one sister, Natalija (18) … Names his favorite player as Krasimir Balakov … Can speak both German and Croatian … Played tennis growing up recreationally … Favorite band is G-Unit … Favorite place he’s been with the U-17s is Costa Rica … Names his dad as his role model.
