U.S. National Team: A converted forward, she earned her first caps with the USA in 2005, playing in three matches at defender and starting one … Has a breakout tournament at the 2006 Four Nations Tournament, starting all three games in the center of the defense and playing every minute of the competition as the USA won the title … Started two matches at the 2006 Algarve Cup … Played in seven matches in 2007 heading into the final pre-Women’s World Cup match, starting three, one at the Four Nations Tournament in China and two at the Algarve Cup in Portugal … Played with the U.S. Under-21 National Team in 2004. Served as senior class secretary of the student government at Hudson's Bay High School ... Threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Seattle Mariners game during the spring of 2004 ... Majored in economics … Loves to cook and in fact, took cooking lessons after she finished college … Enjoys spending time with her family and taking MacKenzie to do fun things, such as going to the park, zoo and soccer practices.
