Had a breakout tournament at the 2005 Algarve Cup, scoring five goals, including the game-winner in the championship against Germany, to help lead the USA to the tournament title … Following the Algarve Cup, she had scored 18 goals in her first 27 caps … Scored 11 goals in 15 games in 2000, her first significant time with the national team … On April 24 of 2004, she scored a goal in her first game back against Brazil after not appearing for the USA since April 27, 2002 …A member of the USA’s 2004 Olympic Residency Training Camp … Traveled with the USA to the Australia Cup in January of 2000, making her debut and scoring her first career goal against the Czech Republic as she helped the USA to the tournament title ... Youth National Teams: Helped the Under-21 U.S. National Team capture its fourth-consecutive Nordic Cup title in Finland in July of 2002 and also won a Nordic Cup in July of 2000 in Norway … Made the roster for the 2001 Nordic Cup, but was forced to miss the tournament due to illness … Played for the U.S. U-18 National Team in 1999, the first year of the program … Traveled with the U-18s to Germany and Denmark in March of 1999 in March of 1999, the first-ever matches abroad for that age group … The U-18s won both games as she scored the winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Germany and assisted on the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Denmark … Helped the U-18s win the USYSA International Tournament in Orlando, Fla. in February of 1999.

Professional / Club: Drafted 2nd overall by her hometown New York Power in the 2003 WUSA Draft … Suffered an ankle injury that limited her to just 12 games and 11 starts, but scored six goals on just 12 shots during her rookie season, finishing second on the team ins scoring … Etc.: Played for Olympique Lyonnaise in the French First Division in 2005 and for Karlsrund in the Sweden First Division in 2004 … Played in the Long Island Junior Soccer League with the Massapequa Sting and Impact and Northport/Cow Harbor Piranhas … Helped the Piranhas to the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Girls Under-16 crown in 1997 and U-18 title in 1999 in a match that went to 11 penalty kick shooters.

College / High School: Played at Penn State University from 1999-’02 … Collected 82 goals, 52 assists, 216 points and 27 game-winning goals over her four seasons as a Nittany Lion, all Big Ten records … The first player in women's soccer history to earn NSCAA All-America honors for four-consecutive years, she earned second-team honors in 2002 … Was the runner-up for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy as a senior, was an NSCAA Scholar All-American and a Second-Team NSCAA All-American … The 14th player in NCAA history to record 200 career points … Won the prestigious Hermann Trophy and M.A.C. As a freshman, she had a spectacular season, finishing tied as the nation's leading scorer with 27 goals and 13 assists in helping lead the Nittany Lions to their first-ever Final Four appearance in 1999 ... The most decorated freshman in Penn State history, she recorded three hat tricks and set the school records for goals in a game (4), points in a game (8) and assists in a game (3), goals in a season (27), assists in a season (13), points in a season (67) and game winning goals (9) … First-team NSCAA All-American ... Loves the outdoors, electronic gadgets … Has a passion for photography, mostly nature photos and lists photography is her greatest hobby because it relaxes her … In a perfect world, she would have two houses, one in State College, Pa, and one on a lake in the woods somewhere … Has a cat named Jeffrey (it’s a girl) named after the Penn State Women’s Soccer field (Jeffrey Field) … Would eventually like to have two dogs, a lab and a husky, who have names picked out already -- Tonka for the lab and Viking for the husky … Favorite candy is Reeses Peanut Butter Cups … Favorite color blue … Her dream place where she hasn’t been, but is dying to go, is Hawaii … Favorite place she’s been to the French Riviera  (Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes, etc.).
