U.S. National Team:

Professional: Played in MLS before moving to the A-League and working his way back to lay claim as one of the most dangerous strikers in the MLS … Named to the MLS Best XI and MLS Comeback Player of the Year in 2004 … 2005: Had seven goals and five assists in only 16 regular season matches for the San Jose Earthquakes, still good for third best on the team … His game-tying goal in the 1-1 draw against FC Dallas on Sept. 25 clinched the top the spot in the Western Conference for San Jose … Scored the lone goal in San Jose’s 1-1 draw against Los Angeles on Oct. 30 in San Jose in the second leg of the semifinal playoff series … 2004: Played in 25 matches, starting 21 … Led the team in scoring and goals scored with 28 points on 12 goals and four assists … Tied for first in the league for goals scored with Eddie Johnson … Was second in the league in scoring … 2003: Started the season on a hot streak with six goals and two assists in 15 games before getting injured and sitting out the rest of the year … Scored his first goal with the Earthquakes in his first start with the team on April 12 against Colorado, striking just 53 seconds into the match … Ruptured his right Achilles tendon on August 16 against New England and underwent surgery three days later forcing him to miss the rest of the season ... Made his official Earthquakes debut in April against CSD Municipal, playing 90 minutes and scoring his first goal … 2002: Played the entire 2002 season with the Seattle Sounders of the A-League, earning All-League honors ...
