How do I become a CoachesNet member?

At the time of booking, active members of CoachesNet will receive a $25 discount.
How is registration handled?
Interested coaches are required to complete an online application. Confirmed candidates will be notified via e-mail with additional course details. Candidates should secure travel only after receiving written confirmation from U.S. Soccer.
Am I required to submit anything with my application?
During the online registration process candidates will be asked to submit a personal photo, coaching and playing background and payment information. Coaches will also be asked to provide proof of their coaching license.
How is payment handled?
Coaches pay in full upon confirmation with a credit or debit card.
Tuition - $1,050
U.S. Soccer Coaching School course fee includes tuition, course materials, and all meals. The course fee does not include housing, ground transportation, airfare, or activities outside of the standard course schedule.
Housing (optional) - $500
Candidates may select to add housing by choosing the residency option during the course registration process. Housing is based on double occupancy. Candidates are randomly paired. An additional $100 fee will be added to all housing requests after November 30. If you have a roommate request please email that request to coaches@ussoccer.org. Roommate requests must be received by November 16.
What is included?
The course fee includes course materials, instruction, and all meals.
What is not included?
Airfare, hotel, and ground transportation.
When do I need to arrive?
Registration will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on December 8. The course begins at 3:30 p.m. Candidates who arrive after the start of the course will be responsible for making up any missed sessions at a future course before a final course grade will be issued.
When does the course end?
The final session will end at approximately noon on December 16.
Which airport should I fly into?
Both the Los Angeles International Airport (www.los-angeles-lax.com) and the Long Beach Airport (www.longbeach.gov/airport/) are approximately 10 miles from the Home Depot Center.
Is transportation provided?
Candidates are responsible for providing their own transportation. Transportation will not be provided between the hotel, fields or airport. A list of confirmed candidates will be provided prior to the course for candidates to arrange a carpool.
What is a typical day like?
A typical day will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. Some days will include an evening lecture or field session. Schedules will be provided during registration.
What are the expectations?
We strongly recommend candidates come in good, physical condition to meet the demands of the course. Candidates will spend approximately three to five hours on the field each day.
Is their pre-course homework?
Candidates are required to complete an assignment prior to arriving. The assignment will be e-mailed prior to the course to each confirmed candidate.
Is gear provided?
Candidates are required to provide their own gear.
Will a trainer be available during the field sessions?
A trainer will be present at all field sessions to provide ice, tape, water and general coverage.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
A cancellation fee of $300 will apply to ALL course cancellations. An additional late cancellation fee of $500 will be assessed to candidates who cancel after November 16. Any cancellations after December 1 or candidates who fail to attend, regardless of circumstance, will forfeit their entire course tuition.
How am I graded during the week?
Candidates undergo a challenging series of written, oral and practical examinations on a variety of subjects. Candidates are graded on a scale of 1 (high) to 5 (fail), and must receive passing scores in all test areas in order to become licensed. A single failing score in a theoretical subject qualifies for a retest in that subject. All retests will take place at the conclusion of the course.
When will I receive my results?
Candidates will receive their results from the national office within four to six weeks following the conclusion of the course.
