- Scored his first MNT goal just four minutes into his first cap in a 2006 World Cup qualifying match against El Salvador, after coming on as a substitute to secure a 2-0 win
- Became the first player in MNT history to score a hat trick after coming on as a substitute, which he did in a 6-0 rout of Panama at RFK Stadium in 2004
