CHICAGO (February 26, 2007) - U.S. Soccer's National Board of Directors has unanimously approved the effort to bring the 2018 FIFA World Cup to the United States. The decision was made on Friday (February 23) on the first day of U.S. Soccer's 2007 Annual General Meeting being held in Los Angeles.
