The 1995 FIFA U-17 World Championship was not very kind to the U.S. team, as they lost all three games and finished 15th out of 16 participating teams. The U.S. were held scoreless in the first and last game of group play, only managing to find the back of the net against Japan, on a goal by Jorge Redmond.
