The side was comfortable with its lead until Tulsa Athletics pulled a goal back in the 76th minute, but Scott Smith iced the game with four minutes remaining to give the Sockers a 3-1 victory. With the win, Midland/Odessa will host Oklahoma City Energy FC in Second Round play on May 20.
