After an uneventful first half, Minnesota United took the lead in the 69th minute as Kevin Venegas was able to thread the ball through the legs of Saint Louis FC goalkeeper Mark Pais. Minnesota furthered its lead in second half stoppage time when Jack Blake easily slotted a ball past Pais to ice the 2-0 victory. Minnesota United will host Sporting Kansas City in the Fourth Round on June 15.
