A recent call-up to the U.S. U-20 WNT, she did not participate in CONCACAF qualifying as she was a recent addition to the squad last in January of 2010, but became a regular call-up after the USA earned its berth to Germany … First ever call-up to the U.S. youth national teams came at the end of 2009 when she was called to U-20 camp in Sunrise, Florida … First international caps came at the La Manga Tournament in Spain in March of 2010, where she played against Norway and Germany, earning a win and a tie … Has played in seven matches for the USA in 2010, including five internationals … Has a career record of 3-1-2 in internationals heading into the 2010 U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Led the KC Comets Select to a Kansas state championship in 2006 and to the Kansas state finals in 2007 and 2008 … Also played club for Topeka Select Fusion as a youth.

Full name is Adrianna Nichole Franch … Majoring in graphic design development … Nickname is AD … Also starred on the basketball court, where she was First-Team All-County and All-League and an honorable mention All-State performer … Worked at a Sonic in high school where her favorite foods were cheddar bites and a Route 44 (huge sized drink) with lemon berry slush … As a kid, her favorite goalkeeper was Briana Scurry and people use to call her the “next Bri Scurry” … She even had her hair short like Scurry … Favorite GK now is Tim Howard … Says a friend of hers actually has a dog named Toto.

Was the starting goalkeeper for Oklahoma State as a freshman in 2009, playing in 24 games and allowing just 14 goals for a 0.61 GAA … Went 15-6-2 with 11 shutouts and was named First-Team All-Big 12 … Played a key role in the Cowgirls winning the Big 12 tournament for just the second time … Attended South High School, but did not play her senior season due to an injury suffered playing basketball … Earned All-State, All-Southwest Region and All-League honors, as well as league MVP.
