Rimando was a stronghold for the USA’s goalkeeping contingent in 2013, boasting a perfect 6-0-0 record and allowing only four goals in 540 minutes. Five of those victories came during the USA’s run to the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup crown. Along with his career-year internationally, Rimando moved up the record books in Major League Soccer, becoming just the second player in league history to reach 100 regular-season shutouts during Real Salt Lake’s 2013 season opener.
