It's almost game day here in Suez, which means it's a quiet night around the hotel. All four teams are relaxing and going through final preparations for tomorrow.
The U.S. side had a light training session today about 15 minutes from the hotel, going through some last minute tactics and some ball work - there were two extremely competitive games of 5 v 2, highlighted by two nutmegs by strength coach Robbie Elliot that made his teammates go crazy and the victims just shake their heads.
The team then played a short-field game that featured some excellent goals on both sides, before cooling down with some free time... Horseshoes has become a very popular game here.
The players are loose, excited and anxious to hit the field against Germany, we can assure you (and we would show you video to prove it if our internet decided to start working tonight..... keep your fingers crossed.... )
