The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team will face Mexico on Monday, May 7 (6:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. local) for the Group B title. The USA, like Mexico, has already clinched a berth in the semifinal round, but with a win or a draw against the Mexicans, the U.S. wins Group B and would then face the Group A runner-up (Panama) on Thursday, May 10. Mexico would need a win against the USA to win the group stage as the U.S. holds a large advantage in goal difference. The second-place team in Group B will face Canada in the semifinal.
The match will be broadcast live on CONCACAF.com and fans can also follow the U.S. U-17 action on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker and on Twitter @ussoccer_ynt.
The U.S. WNT did not hit the field today, instead opting for a regen session that included a bike workout for some players, stretching, a soak in the cold and hot pool and ice baths.
The USA played the early game in its first two matchs, kicking off at 2 p.m., which made for some hot matches on the artificial turf, but the 4:30 p.m. kickoff against Mexico should make for a bit cooler climes.
