With the decision by FIFA to protect the field at Loftus Versfeld Stadium and not have teams train there on match day -1 (in tournament parlance), Bob Bradley decided to give the pitch at Pilditch Stadium a break and move the session to nearby Eesterus Stadium on the east side of Pretoria. Situated near a school and a brick factory, the venue provided a very secluded atmosphere for the final training prior to the match against Algeria. Training took place during the final Group A matches between South Africa-France and Uruguay-Mexico, so the players were kept updated on the events by sounds of cheers and vuvuzelas whenever South Africa had an important moment. Jozy Altidore sat out the session with an upset stomach, but he is ready to roll for tomorrow afternoon's contest.
