Today has been a relaxing day for the U.S. team, especially after the events of the last few days that included, among other things, the naming of the World Cup roster, a trip to ESPN to announce it live on the air, a quick trip to Washington, D.C. to meet President Obama, a three-hour bus ride to Philadelphia and a quick turn-around for training that day after arrival at the hotel. Today, the players got to sleep in before breakfast (fantastic seasoned potatoes here at the hotel!), relax a bit and decompress after a crazy few days. The squad will not train until this afternoon, getting in its standard pre-game training at the stadium before facing Turkey tomorrow at 2 p.m. ET inside what surely will be a raucous Lincoln Financial Field. If you won’t be here, you can watch the USA’s final match on American soil before departing for South Africa on ESPN2 and Galavision.
