U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has an impressive streak going against Mexico: He's never lost to them.
In three games each as a player and a coach, he has a combined record of 4-0-2.
Klinsmann played for Germany in a 0-0 draw at Estadio Azteca, then scored in the 2-1 win in the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France.
As the coach of Germany, he defeated Mexico 4-3 in the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup in the run up to Germany 2006. His first game at the helm of the United States resulted in a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Robbie Rogers, and last year he made history by leading the U.S. to its first ever victory against Mexico on Mexican soil, the 1-0 win at Azteca.
