The part of training camp where you sweat came to an end today with a fitness session in the gym. (The players have a team breakfast out of the hotel early tomorrow morning, followed by some team building on the beach, then camp officially ends). U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage will announce her roster for Germany next week and then the players will have a little more than two weeks to get themselves ready to travel to Europe. Once in Germany, the team will have eight days of training before taking on the two-time reigning Women's World Cup champs on Oct. 29 in Augsburg. Temperatures are likely to be in the chilly side in southern Germany in late October, but we imagine that crisp, fall days in Bavaria will be quite nice.
