U.S. forward Amy Rodriguez arrived in Germany on the evening of Oct. 24, a day after she was scheduled to land, due to some academic business she had to take care of back at school (USC). But she is here now and the U.S. roster is complete. The team is done with its training in Munich and will board a bus tomorrow morning for a short trip to Augsburg, just about 42 miles northwest. The USA will train in the afternoon in the city of 264,000. Munich is home to 1.35 million. Ironically, the U.S. will be leaving Munich the day after the best weather day BY FAR as the sun was out today and you could even wear (gasp) shorts. That is, until the sun went down, and so did the thermometer. The German team will meet in Augsburg tonight and tomorrow after their players completed their Women's Bundesliga matchs this weekend, so the buzz for the match at the sold-out Impuls Arena should really start to pick up once both teams get into town.
