The U.S. team had its standard pre-World Cup refereeing seminar this morning (where the squad is told, more or less, how the tournament will be officiated and if there are any new rule interpretations) as well as the team arrival meeting, where FIFA officials checked the players' passports to make sure they are who they say they are, and that they are of age for this U-20 event (players born on or after Jan. 1, 1990, are age-eligible). Each player also got a certificate of participation and 100 Euros spending money. Thanks FIFA! The players also got their pictures taken for the accreditations and all systems are a go for the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup opener against Ghana at Rudolf-Harbig Stadium in Dresden on July 14 (Noon ET live on ESPNU).
