CHICAGO (Feb. 17, 2010) – U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Education Department will conduct a Coaching Symposium on March 25-26, 2011 in conjunction with the U.S. Men’s National Team’s match against two-time World Cup Champion Argentina in East Rutherford. N.J.
The game, which will be played at the new Meadowlands Stadium, will be the second game in 2011 against a South American opponent. The U.S. opened the year with a 1-1 draw against Chile in January.
“The focus of this symposium is to watch, interact and learn from how our national coaching staff and team prepare,†said newly appointed Director of Coaching Education Dave Chesler who will oversee the two-day symposium. “Opportunities like these to come watch our men’s national team play a team like Argentina and interact with our coaching staff are extremely beneficial to any coach looking to expand their soccer knowledge.â€
