U.S. Soccer Renews Long-Standing Partnerships with Kwik Goal and Official Sports International

Kwik Goal and OSI Maintain Exclusive Rights Through 2014 in New ‘Technical Partner’ Category

CHICAGO (July 25, 2011) — The United States Soccer Federation has renewed their long-standing partnerships with Kwik Goal and Official Sports International (OSI) in agreements that will give both exclusive rights through 2014 in the new category of Technical Partners of U.S. Soccer.

Organizations receiving the designation of Technical Partner will be fully integrated into the process of improving the U.S. National Teams at all levels and developing products that will improve performance. After working with key technical staff and U.S. Soccer personnel, Technical Partners will develop products that will satisfy the needs of coaches, players and referees.

“We are proud to continue our long partnerships with Kwik Goal and OSI,” said U.S. Soccer Secretary General/CEO Dan Flynn. “As part of our innovative new Technical Partner category, the experts at U.S. Soccer will work closely with Kwik Goal and OSI to develop products that will best serve the needs of players, coaches and referees as they prepare to give the best performance possible on the field.”

As a Technical Partner, Kwik Goal will be supporting U.S. Soccer’s development of a comprehensive coaching education curriculum meant to provide guidance on all aspects of player development to the country’s coaches. In addition, Kwik Goal will be working with U.S. Soccer’s technical staff in designing new training products and will be supporting U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy clubs.

Kwik Goal will continue to be U.S. Soccer’s Official Supplier of goals, nets, mobile seating, soccer field and training equipment and coaching accessories.

OSI has been a partner with U.S. Soccer for the past 12 years and maintains the exclusive right to be the Official Referee Supplier. Working directly with the U.S. Soccer referee department, OSI will continue to design, develop and market official referee apparel.

As part of their technical partnership, OSI will become the exclusive sponsor of U.S. Soccer's new online Referee Resource Center. The Resource Center is designed to enhance referee education at all levels nationwide.
