CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Oct. 9, 2005) - Bruce Arena has made a number of changes in his 18-man roster for the USA's match against Panama in Foxboro, Mass., in the final match of World Cup qualifying on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The game will also be live on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker, presented by Philips, and taped delayed at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Telemundo.
The match is presented by Philips Electronics and tickets start at just $20 and are available through ussoccer.com, by phone at 508-931-2000, at all Ticketmaster outlets in the region (including Filene's Stores) and at the Gillette Stadium Box Office (open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Discounted tickets (from $16-$28) are available for groups of 20 or more by calling the New England Revolution at 877-GET-REVS.
Arena sent home all but two of the European based players with Carlos Bocanegra and Eddie Lewis both serving suspensions for the games after picking up their second yellow cards in 2006 qualifying in Costa Rica. Goalkeeper Tim Howard (Manchester United) and defender Jonathan Spector (Charlton Athletic) will be available for selection on Wednesday.
The top teams in the Eastern and Western Conference in MLS provide half of the roster. Three members of the Supporters' Shield winner San Jose Earthquakes are on the roster, and six players from the New England Revolution will dress for the game played in their home stadium.
