Men's National Team Training Camp Update

CLAREMONT, Calif. (Friday, January 11, 2002) - The U.S. Men's National Team took the field against the U-23's for the second time this week,  the two 60-minute matches turning out to be a much more lopsided affair in the senior team's favor.  News of the MLS allocation and dispersal drafts drifted through the benches while both coaches took a second opportunity to view their rosters under match conditions.

The benefits of a weeklong camp of twice-daily sessions had clearly paid dividends, Bruce Arena's side demonstrating elevated levels of  physical fitness and technical sharpness.  Arena rewarded his side with an afternoon off, while he spent time responding to questions from a host of travelling reporters from Korea.  The team has two sessions scheduled for Saturday.
