Youth National Team Rosters Unveiled for 2001 U.S. Amateur Soccer Festival


CHICAGO (Monday, July 23, 2001) - Three U.S. Youth National Teams will be heading to Chicago this weekend to compete in the sixth annual U.S. Amateur Soccer Festival, which will be played July 29-Aug. 5 at three venues across the Chicago Southland. The 2001 edition of the festival will feature eight men's teams and six women's teams, including two teams from Mexico. The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team, Under-17 Men's National Team and Under-16 Girl's National Team will compete in the festival, with the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team joining the festival on the final day to play the Mexico Under-18 Women's National Team. The 8-day tournament kicks off Sunday (July 29) with the U.S. U-18 and U-17 Men in action against USASA Regional "All-Star" teams.

Coaches of the Under-18 Men's National Team, the Under-17 Men's National Team and the Under-16 Girl's National Team unveiled their respective rosters for next week's 2001 U.S. Amateur Soccer Festival, an 8-day, 14-team tournament taking place from July 29-Aug. 5 at three venues across Chicago's Southland.

Under-18 Men's National Team
