CHICAGO (Wednesday, December 19, 2001) - Joe-Max Moore is breaking out of his scoring slump in style, netting his second goal in as many matches for Everton. After scoring the game-winner against Derby on the weekend, Moore entered in the 50th minute against Leeds tonight and scored the Blues' first goal of the contest in the 84th minute. They eventually fell 3-2, keeping Everton at the ninth spot on the table. Meantime, John O'Brien joined a host of Ajax goalscorers as the Amsterdam side trounced Vitesse 5-1 at the Amsterdam Arena. The goal was O'Brien's second of the season and helped move Ajax back atop the table in the Dutch Eredivisie, just one point ahead of Feyenoord.
