CHICAGO (April 14, 2016) – Tickets for the U.S. Men’s National Team friendly against Ecuador on May 25 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, will go on sale Wednesday, April 20, at 10 a.m. CT.
Tickets will go on sale to the public through ussoccer.com and by phone at (855) 492-8053. Purchases are limited to eight tickets per household. Ultimate Fan Tickets (special VIP packages that include a premium ticket, a custom-made official U.S. National Team jersey with name and number, VIP access to the field before and after the game, and other unique benefits) are also available exclusively through ussoccer.com.
The match will be televised on ESPN2 and UniMas at 7 p.m. CT. This will be the first of two warm-up matches the MNT will play in May leading up to hosting Copa America Centenario.
The USA holds a 2-5-5 record against Ecuador in a series that dates back to 1984. The teams last played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 10, 2014, in East Hartford, Connecticut, in the farewell match for U.S. MNT all-time goal scoring leader Landon Donovan.
Toyota Stadium has proved to be a favorable host for the United States, as the USA holds a 2-0-1 record in Frisco dating back to 2006. Home to MLS club, FC Dallas, the stadium hosted the first two matches of Group A during the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, including a 2-1 victory for the USA against Honduras as Texas native Clint Dempsey scored twice.
