Ramping up towards FIFA World Cup Qualifying next year, the U.S. Men’s National Team played its first away match under head coach Gregg Berhalter when it faced Canada in Concacaf Nations League play on Oct. 15 in Toronto. With many of the side’s rising young talents also experiencing their first competitive road game, the defeat gave the players a crash course in understanding the rigors ahead as the side tackles the World Cup qualifying gauntlet for 2022.
