The U.S. Men's National Team earned a historic win over Guatemala, opening the semifinal round of World Cup Qualifying with a 1-0 win in front of a partisan crowd at Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City.

The journey to the 2010 FIFA World Cup resumes on Aug. 20 when the U.S. takes on Guatemala on MatchDay 1 of Semifinal Round qualifying for South Africa. Kickoff at the Estadio Mateo Flores is set for 8 p.m. MT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Galavision. Fans can also follow the match live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has been added to the USA's roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Aug. 20 against Guatemala, becoming the 18th and final player that will travel to Guatemala City.

U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Bob Bradley has named an initial 17-player roster that will travel to face Guatemala on Aug. 20 in the USA’s first match of the semifinal round of qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
