We also want to give credit to Cuba. To come in here with no points, they still came in and were organized and difficult to break down. That is a credit to their coach and their players.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 11, 2008) - The U.S. Men's National Team clinched a berth in the Final Round of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying with a dominating 6-1 victory against Cuba at RFK Stadium on Saturday evening in Washington, D.C. DaMarcus Beasley scored two goals, while Landon Donovan, Brian Ching, Jozy Altidore and Oguchi Onyewu added tallies as the U.S. took full advantage of the passionate home support.

More often than not, soccer fans think that this type of stadium can only be found in Europe, but this weekend the U.S. Men’s National Team will host a game in one, right in our Nation’s Capitol.

The U.S. Men's National Team has a chance to secure their berth in the Final Round of World Cup qualifying with a win over Cuba on Saturday, Oct. 11 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., looking to make it a perfect four wins in Semifinal Group 1. Kickoff for Saturday's match, which can be seen live on ESPN Classic and Galavision, is set for 7 p.m. ET and fans can also follow the game live on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker.
