Skillful and a deft passer, Feilhaber brings vision and composure on the ball to the U.S. midfield. Those skills proved useful at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where he came on at halftime of three of the USA’s four matches. After successive knee injuries dampened his progress, Feilhaber resurrected his career for both club and country in the second half of 2009. His efforts in the 2009 Confederations Cup demonstrated his value to the depth of the U.S. side. After alerting the soccer world to his promise with the game-winning goal in the 2007 Gold Cup, he served as a member of Peter Nowak’s squad for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where he appeared in all three games. His European professional continues for the third season at AGF Aarhus in Denmark, where he has evolved into one of his team’s most significant goalscorers.
