A crafty winger who can also be deployed in the center of midfield, Holden’s versatility is matched by his increasing savvy and seasoning. While a knee injury kept him sidelined for most of 2011, he nonetheless demonstrated skill and industry that shows great promise. After an outstanding 2009 for the Houston Dynamo, he moved to Bolton of the English Premier League where he worked his way into a regular starting role and has become a team and fan favorite.
