After a stellar year in which he led MLS in scoring, Chris Wondolowsi joins the U.S. National Team for the first time in the 2011 January camp. A versatile attacking player who can feature up top or out wide, the California native enjoyed a break out year for the San Jose Earthquakes and is looking to test his skills at the international level.

Called up to the full U.S. National Team in January 2011, his first appearance in a U.S. camp at any level.
Captured the MLS Golden Boot and was named to the MLS Bext XI in 2010.

Married Lindsay prior to the 2009 season … Father, John Wondolowski, is San Ramon Valley High School assistant soccer coach … Younger brother, Stephen, was a reserve on the Dynamo’s MLS Cup championship team in 2007 and was also a teammate in 2008 … … He is half Native American and is a member of the Kiowa Tribe. His tribal name is Bau Daigh (pronounced Bowe Dye), which means “Warrior coming over the hill."
