Women's National Team

The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team swept its three-game series against Ireland with a 2-0 win on a beautiful night at Toyota Park in the third match of the Achieve Your Gold Tour.

Women's National Team
The U.S. Women’s National Team will complete its three-game series against Ireland on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill., but this friendly carries a bit more significance as the U.S. team can make a bit of history. With a victory, the U.S. women will set a record for wins in a calendar year, a pretty impressive statistic considering this is the 24th year of competition for the team.

A second-half goal from Natasha Kai was enough to put the U.S. ahead of Ireland, 1-0, at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
