U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team earned its second straight win and shutout at the 2008 Nordic Cup with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over England in Group B.

U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team won its opening match of the 2008 Nordic Cup, defeating Switzerland, 1-0, as midfielder Brittany Klein tallied the winning goal six minutes into the second half.

U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team head coach Bill Irwin has named 18 players to the roster that will travel to Falun, Sweden, on July 11 for the 2008 Nordic Cup tournament, being held from July 15-21.
