About The Series
U.S. Soccer is doing a five-part poster series throughout the Final Round of FIFA 2014 World Cup Qualifying. At each home World Cup Qualifier, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a special-edition, game-specific poster to show their pride for the U.S. Men’s National Team.
Each poster is designed by a different artist and only a limited run of each post will be printed, providing a unique memento to fans to remember each World Cup Qualifying match. The poster for each game will draw on local imagery and iconography while incorporating the Men’s National Team and U.S. Soccer in a poster that ultimately showcases the specific World Cup Qualifier being played in that specific city. All five posters will be available for purchase on ussoccerstore.com. Collect all five for the entire series!
(Note: Posters will become available as they are released around their corresponding World Cup Qualifier. The entire collection will be available on approximately Oct. 20. Please check for availability on a per poster basis before that time.

Quote from Art Chantry on Poster Design:
I captured that moment of impact between the kicking foot and the flying ball. That split second when the world stops mid-motion, when you don't know which way it's all going to go. It can fly directly into the goal, or it can fall off the poster entirely.”

The poster states, “LOOK MA, NO HANDS,” complete with eyes in the Os of the word LOOK, a unique design known well by Salt Lake residents. The design was first painted on crosswalks in the city in 2001 as an advisory to enhance street safety by encouraging pedestrians to look both ways before crossing the street. The design received such strong public acceptance that more were installed prior to the 2002 Winter Olympics to assist visitors from countries around the world.
