The U.S. World Cup Team got the chance to spend quality time with the hotel staff here at the Irene Country Lodge tonight after dinner, and it was a smash hit. The staff here at the hotel has pulled out all the stops to make the USA's stay as smooth and comfortable as possible, doing their best to expeditiously take care of any and all requests, no matter how big or small. All the of the hotel staff came together in a ball room and U.S. Senior Manager of Communications Neil Buethe spoke, gave an overview of the U.S. team, showed some videos and took questions. Then, the entire U.S. team and coaching staff came into the room for half an hour of taking pictures and signing autographs. There was a special surprise for the Manager of the Month and the Employee of the Month for the hotel, who received gifts from Bob Bradley and the team. Needless to say, the staff was super excited for the up close and personal time with the U.S. players, who were more than obliging. Then everyone took a big group picture, which you can see below along with some other pics from the event.
