All the U.S. players have pretty much gotten over any jet lag (and let's be honest, from the East Coast of the USA to England is really not that much different - time zone wise -- from going West Coast to East Coast) and now the countdown begins to the match against England on April 2 at Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road. You can watch it live on ESPN2 at 3 p.m. ET. The U.S. team did weights in the morning and then had another intense training in the afternoon that featured a warm-up (see above), a possession game, a full-field scrimmage and then some finishing. Truth be told, the players were a bit tired tonight, but tomorrow is just one training and then dinner out, so they got that going for them. Seems the team is going to a place that has four restaurants in one area, and the players can pick from Indian, English pub food, Italian and Chinese. It will be interesting to see the breakdown of choices by the players (WNT players love choices), but we hear the Yorkshire pudding is great at the pub.
Carli Lloyd looks for a passing option. She found one.
