Heather O'Reilly serves in a ball-possession drill
The U.S. team moved up its training this morning to get an early jump on Thanksgiving preparations. The team trained at 10 a.m. and went for about 70 minutes in relatively mild temperatures (see O'Reilly in shorts above...of course she is from New Jersey), finishing off with some 11 v. 11 on a shortened field. U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage was very pleased with the training, intensity and focus, as she has been all week with a U.S. team that seems to be experts at getting over jet-lag. We'll have some pics of the team's Thanksgiving celebrations later on...
