The WNT has played three friendly matches in Norway, the first two coming in July 2000, a 1-1 draw in Tromso in the far north of the country, and a 2-1 loss in Oslo, the nation’s capital. The U.S. captured a 4-0 win in its most recent appearance in the Land of the Midnight Sun in Fredrikstad on July 2, 2008.
