• After the 2-0 win vs. South Korea on Thursday, Jill Ellis is now the winningest coach in U.S. Soccer history. With another victory tonight she will finish her tenure with 107 career wins.

• Alyssa Naeher has 30 career shutouts and is the fifth goalkeeper to earn a shutout in a Women’s World Cup Final. After the matchup against Spain in Round of 16, she became the fourth goalkeeper in U.S. history to earn 50 caps has now moved past Nicole Barnhart to become the third-most capped goalkeeper in U.S. history. She will earn cap No. 56 tonight.

• Casey Short had not played for the National Team in 2019 before her substitute appearances against Portugal on Aug. 29 in Philadelphia. She has started 19 of her 29 games for the USA, playing mostly left back, but has also played some outside midfield and centrally. She earns cap No. 30 tonight in her 20th career start for the USA.

• Tierna Davidson got the start on Aug. 29 in Philadelphia and played the first 45 minutes and came off the bench to play the second half on Sept. 3 in Minnesota. She also came off the bench at halftime against Korea on Oct. 3. She will earn her 25th cap today and will play in the central defense alongside Becky Sauerbrunn.

• Becky Sauerbrunnwill earn cap No. 169today and makes her 20th appearance of the year.

• Crystal Dunn has 24 international goals but has not scored this year since she has played primarily as an outside back. Today, she will earn cap No. 96 and will likely be the next U.S. player to hit 100 caps.

• Julie Ertzwill earn her 93rd cap. She currently has 19 international goals, the most recent coming against Chile on June 16, which was her first World Cup goal.

• Rose Lavelle will earn her 36th career cap today – her 29th start. She has 10 international goals. She played in the first Victory Tour match against Ireland, and played very well against South Korea on Oct. 3, but missed the matches against Portugal due to injury.

• Carli Lloyd will captain the USA today and will be making her seventh start this year. She has scored 12 goals in 2019, the most on the team.

• Tobin Heath has 32 career international goals, including 14 goals in her last 27 matches and 12 in her last 22. The 14 goals are 43% of her career total.

• Christen Press has 127 caps, 49 career goals and 33 career assists. The Los Angeles native set up Tobin Heath’s goal in the first Victory Tour game on Aug. 3 at the Rose Bowl and Heath’s goal in the second Victory Tour game. She has four multi-assist games in 2019.

• Press needs just one more goal to join 10 other American female players who have scored 50 career goals. She is in 12th place on the all-time WNT goals list. She also leads the USA in assists this year with 10, four more than any other player. Press is one of only two players to play in all 22 games so far this year for the USWNT.

• Megan Rapinoe, who missed the first three Victory Tour games due to injury, has 50 career goals, which has moved her into sole possession of 11th place on the all-time U.S. scoring list. This is her second WNT match since the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final, where she scored on a penalty kick. She the Golden Ball the top player and the Golden Boot as the top scorer at the World Cup. She was recently named The FIFA Best Women’s Player of 2019.

• Six players – Sam Mewis, Kelley O’Hara, Morgan Brian, Ali Krieger, Alex Morgan and Lindsey Horan – are not available due to injuries.

• There are two players on the roster who were not a part of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup champions in midfielder Andi Sullivan and defender Casey Short. Sullivan was added to the roster on Sept. 30, while Short was added on Oct. 4, both due to the injuries to World Cup players.
