Back to Soccer Everywhere for Everyone

Two girls participate in a soccer activity at school, practicing ball control with a pink soccer ball on a grass field. Text on the image reads “Soccer at Schools.”

The Starter Kit

The first step in this movement is the Soccer at Schools Starter Kit, a free and practical toolkit built for teachers, schools, clubs, and community partners who want to bring soccer to life.

Soccer at Schools. Presented by Bank of America.

Making soccer possible in every school in the United States.

Soccer at Schools is a national effort led by Soccer Forward in partnership with Bank of America to ensure every child can access the joy and benefits of soccer, not just on a team, but where they already are: in school.

Right now, the opportunity to play soccer at school is not available across the country. The result? Missed chances for play, movement, connection, and confidence building, at a time when young people are facing record levels of physical inactivity and mental health challenges.

We believe soccer can help make a difference.

Our Vision

A future where every student in the United States can experience soccer in a high-quality, safe, inclusive and accessible way.

And where the game is used as a force for good, supporting social-emotional learning, belonging, and healthier school communities.

What’s inside:

  • Step-by-step advocacy and planning tools
  • 60+ ready-to-use activities for recess, field day, and after-school
  • Partnership models linking schools with local clubs and community organizations
  • Coaching and inclusion guidance rooted in positive development
  • Real examples and proven practices from across the U.S.
