CHICAGO (June 10, 2014) – U.S. Soccer has received an overwhelming response to the series of free FanHQ parties it will host before each of the USA’s three group-stage matches. All five events have reached capacity and the waitlist for tickets is quickly growing.
Each event is specifically for fans of the U.S. Men’s National Team to gather and support the USA before its games in Natal, Manaus and Recife. There will be food and beverages available for purchase and music from local DJs as fans prepare for the match with their fellow supporters.
In Natal and Manaus, FanHQ will be open both the night before and on the day of the match, while in Recife, FanHQ will only be open the night before the game. The American Outlaws, the USA’s ardent supporters group, will join the FanHQ party the night before the match in Natal and on game day in Manaus.
Supporters who have made an RSVP for a FanHQ event but will not be able to attend should cancel their reservation so fans on the waitlist can receive tickets. Additionally, if you have reserved tickets for a friend or family member under your name, you must change the full name on the ticket to that of your friend or family member as U.S. Soccer will delete any repeat RSVPs in order to provide tickets to fans who have been waitlisted.
More details, including waitlist registration for all events, can be found at brazil.ussoccer.com.
